Lobby HarborScouting notes for squads choosing a team game. Plan a session

Play safe

Enjoy the match and keep the boundary.

Competitive games are easier to enjoy with a stopping point, a spending limit and a way out of a bad lobby agreed in advance.

Set the last match first

Decide before the first queue how the evening ends: a number of matches or a clock time. In every game covered here the next match is one click away, so the decision is easier to make before the lobby opens.

Know what costs money

All five games are free to start. Money goes on cosmetics, battle passes, Counter-Strike 2's Prime Status and, in CS2, keys that open weapon cases with random contents. Paying for a random reward works like a lottery; set the limit in advance, and a limit of zero is a valid one.

Lobby Harbor does not link to skin trading, case-opening or betting sites.

Take pressure seriously

Every game here has mute and report tools for voice and text chat. Leaving a lobby that has turned hostile is a reasonable choice, and the next session can start with the group playing privately.

Use platform controls

Steam Families, Xbox Family Settings, PlayStation family management and Nintendo Switch Parental Controls can limit play time and spending for younger players. Age ratings for each game are listed by PEGI in Europe and the ESRB in North America.
